I'm finally gonna be upgrading my fuel system (been running 113% duty cycle on my fuel injectors for a long time)
got some bigger injectors and will be getting the pump and all that too.
question is will I need to get my tune updated for the new fuel system?

Changing a fuel pump normally does not need a tune since you typically don't change the fuel pressure, you're just adding the ability to not run out of pressure.

Changing Injectors does need a tune because you are changing the amout of fuel flowed. The injector sizing change is a very minor modification to one table.

Is it very hard to change the fuel pump. I heard they were inside the tank?

I vote you cut a hole in the trunk. Makes the job much easier.

Edit: you'll need a tune for the injectors, but not the pump. Make sure you get new fuel injector seals for the injectors and lube them lightly with motor oil before installation to prevent leaks.

Yes, the pump is a PITA to replace if you drop the tank. I did it that way once.

On my personal car I cut the trap door.

If you want to come look at mine so you only have to cut once, I'll be happy to let you see where/how I cut my trap door.

Ised a dremel wheel and it went liek cake, Just I cut mine too small on the first pass.

Then proceded to expoy a metal plate and screw it down to seal it.
