I have a question one of my friends has a 98 TA... and is having some problems with and we are looking for some answers when he hooks a computer up to it, it will not go into closed loop the vehicle stays in open loop... has lost alot of power does anyone have any suggestions as to why this happens or what can cause it?

Well there's the obvious, like check for any DTC, and then there's the re-programming possability or MAF calibration/change.

Has someone done a SD only tune?

Is the MAF hooked up and returning information?

Has someone forced Open Loop through HPTuners?
